Rent Our 3D Printer

“We would like to introduce the Dimension 3D Printer as a rental unit.”

Renting our 3D Printer lets you bring 3D modeling in-house with distinct design advantages for the user. Instead of wondering “what if” now you can see “what is” without waiting. With 3D modeling/rapid prototyping you can literally bring design ideas from the drawing table to your hand in ABS plastic right from your desktop. There are many ways to utilize 3D printing: Engineer design prototypes, architectural models, animation pieces, movie set scale projects, and more. Just click print! It’s that easy.

Essential / Affordable

Rental rates are available for using our 3D printer in your own office. The Dimension Elite 3D Printer is an invaluable tool that can give you more control throughout your design process. Now you can readily test, form, fit and function as many design iterations as you like with functional ABS parts. You can complete your projects in your own office with a cost effective means of producing rugged, hands-on prototypes that can be painted and finished in a number of ways.

Three Easy Steps

Simply connect the Dimension Elite 3D Printer to your network. Load the Catalyst software. Insert the self-loading material cartridges, and follow the display panel prompts. That's it! Catalyst software imports the STL files and then automatically slices and orients the part, creates any necessary support structures, and plots a precise deposition path for the 3D printer to follow. The Catalyst software does all the work, and can accommodate all your needs.

Renting a 3D Printer has just been made easier! Solid Image 3D has custom designed ATA rated road cases for the Dimension Elite 3D Printer so it can be transported safely and securely. Transportation of the Rental Machines are available throughout Southern California. Delivery can be arranged through our office.

About the Dimension Elite Performance 3D Printer

It’s made specifically for those who demand ABS prototypes with exquisite detail. It is a cost-effective way to improve your designs and reduce risk by working iteratively. With the Dimension Elite, the proof is in the prototype. It uses ABS thermoplastic to build your models. Model and soluble support materials come in convenient enclosed cartridges that are a snap to load. Inside the 3D printer, plastic filament travels through a tube to the print head, where it’s heated to a semi-liquid state and extruded in thin, accurate layers. Modeling bases provide a stable platform where your prototype builds. Once printing is done, you simply take the recyclable plastic base out of your 3D printer and snap off the model.
